Why isn't there a TV dance show (like American Bandstand or Soul Train) for today's youth?

Honestly, not a lot of people watch T. V anymore, so the ratings would be in the dumps, I mean unless it had a primetime slot.. Then maybe I could see it getting the viewership.. Would people appreciate it today? Hmm I don't know some might for the simple fact that it's Soul Train, but I don't see it being anywh near as popular as it once was.

Do they HAVE any MUSIC to dance to? Most of what I've been hearing sounds like somebody playing with an early `80's era Casiotone and an electric typewriter while monotonously spewing stupid rhymes.

Its technically not the same but Shakira/Nick Jonas had a dance show that was good. Mainly tiktok shit tho. The way they were dancing to “Get Down On It” tripped me out

It's all gone to tiktok. Most ypung people get their entertainment more online anyway. Not from TV. I'd personally love a show like that. Something besides dancing with the Stars.
