Does the adrenaline get any better? It's been years and I still can't forget that bump.

When I worked at a grocery store it was held up, but I wasn't at a till at the time, I was stocking produce. I heard the yelling, caught a glimpse of the gun, and dashed into the back room and out a fire exit. Called 911 but they already were on their way. Manager got mad that I left the fire exit open but I was not about to become a casualty for a minimum wage job. I got a different job and quit about a month later.

Growing up there was a drive by. There was an incident on the range.

I've shot a home invader and pulled a gun on two others in other incidents. First gun I had was a ruger security six, was my dad's, he have it to me. Police took it off me in the investigation and I never got it back, after a few years they told me it had been destroyed. Was a good gun.

My dad's a retired Special Forces officer, so he's trained me to shoot, but I've never shot at anyone. That being said, I was shot a couple years ago in a botched carjacking at a gas station, and it wasn't me they were carjacking. I would definitely not recommend taking a bullet, i wasn't a pleasant experience.

Nah but I had a guy whip out a knife while trying to rob me tho. Shortly after that I did start carrying. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet

I've never been shot at , rare in Australia , but I have had a knife held to my throat and that's something I will never forget.

I nearly shot some idiot after he had a road rage incident and followed me to my property, the only reason he's still alive is because his wife/baby momma and kids followed him and were screaming and crying on my lawn so I decided not to shoot him dead in front his family. He then left and I never saw him again, if he was foolish enough to come back I won't be so merciful next time regardless of who else is there.

Nah. My dad wants me to learn how to use a handgun (he's asked to take me to a shooting range or on an overseas trip) and I keep turning him down. It's not a skill I need nor want to have. Firing a bullet isn't on my bucket list
