I recently went clay pigeon shooting and really enjoyed the experience

Thousands of times. All calibers of handguns and rifles. I was a really good target shooter. I even got to fire a full-auto once.

I was excellent with my Remington 1100 shotgun in shooting trap, hand-thrown clay birds, as well as dove and quail hunting. I gave up hunting, though, because I decided that I didn't like killing things even though they were tasty.

I used to reload my own.44 mag rounds and 12 gauge shells.

I've used pistols, rifles, and shotguns, when I live in the US for ten years I carried a pistol for 9 of those years and held a CCW, used a local range 3 times a week, pistol every time and alternate rifle and shotgun,

I have been licensed to carry a concealed firearm for many years. I practice at least twice a month. It's fun to see what others bring to the range. They often allow me to pop off a few rounds with their gun, and I allow them to shoot mine.

So, yes. I have fired a firearm.

A few times, when I was a kid. About 7 or 8 years old, I was sleeping in grandma's bed at camp and found her pistol under the pillow. No idea what I was dreaming but, I pulled out out, pointed it at the ceiling and pulled the trigger. Put a hole in the roof!
A few years later, we were at camp and dad had a pistol out in the front yard and was trying to teach me to shoot. I wasn't very good at it.

I've shot a lot of different firearms over the years, pistols, bolt actions, level actions, pump actions, semi-auto's, snipers, rifles, etc. Going to the range is always fun and a nice way to relax.

There is nothing really exciting in shooting after firing a ton of ammunition. I have a hunter firearm license. I don't shoot animals but participate in shooting competitions

Yeah, pest control on a farm I did my work experience at and at a range on my other work experience because they made military equipment including opticals
