Not yet I need to get my 38 service revolver checked out and take a safety course first. Before I shoot it at a shooting range. Safety first. :)

Of course. Come to farm and let's shoot some shit up. Then let's go hunting in my woods.
Only if water guns count.
Many times.

Yeah my family is really big on guns I had to learn to shoot when i was 5 and I hated it 😭
Yeah, when I was about 9 years old a friend of mine said "hey, you wanna see my dad's gun?" and so we went and fished a Beretta out of his father's sock drawer and shot it off a few times in the back yard. I hurt my hand because I could barely hold it.
We got caught. The neighbors heard the shots, told his dad and my friend spilled the beans. We got into a shitload of trouble for that.
A little later, I started going fishing with my uncle on a regular basis. Where I grew up, it's not uncommon to take a gun with you on fishing trips just in case you end up accidentally trespassing or you come across some poachers or you find something somebody didn't want you to find (like a marijuana crop or a still). The adults made sure I knew how to use a handgun if I had to.
Then I got trained on an M1 Carbine in the Boy Scouts. And my friends and I had "apeshit days" where we'd go out into the woods and rip a bunch of shit up with whatever we could get our hands on (including an AK one time). And when I was a teenager, we went camping a lot and we each took a gun for the same reasons as the fishing trips. And then there's squirrel/rabbit hunting.
Right now, I'm kinda sorta lightly getting into the whole Prepper thing. I'm stocking up my basement for a short-term issue (2 weeks) but my wife and I are also planning something for a more long-term thing. We're actually rolling around the idea of building an underground shelter. It's one of those half serious "joking unless you say yes" kind of things. Anyway, part of that includes a bugout bag for each of us that contains a Glock 17 in addition to at least one AR (I like the SIG M400 so far but haven't really seriously evaluated it yet) and a 12-gauge.I've shot a few but none bigger than a 30.06. I did fire a 3 inch Magnum Shotgun and my shoulder ached for a day afterward. I don't fool with bigger guns after reading a story of some guys playing a joke on a girl and giving her Desert Eagle that had a big recoil. She was unprepared for said recoil and when she fired it the barrel recoiled and hit her in the head. Her finger was still on the trigger and when it hit her head it fired again, killing her. I won't go into the gory details. So if you are going to fire a gun you might take a firearms safety class first because even a.22 will kill you if it hits you in the right place.
Many times. I grew up in a family that hunts to supplement our food supply. I've harvested deer, elk and small game, ducks and pheasant. Doing so I think raises that sense of awareness that a fire arm is a destructive tool that is to be respected for the devistatation it could do to another person if it were carelessly used.
Witness my profile picture. LOL.
As it happens, I took a pic today because it made me think of you.My dad & brothers are all in the military. My mom & I have been trained to handle firearms. My husband is trained as well. My husband & I alone own firearms that we occasionally "condition" in the range.
I was at a carnival with my uncle and aunt and cousin as a 7 year old and they had a competitive shooting event where the first person to eliminate all the stars on a picture by shooting at it with stationary guns would win a stuffed animal. My uncle shot at the star but I did not.
If you look at the reason why firearms were developed, then you realize that those were and still are primary aimed at killing people.
Why should I, on my free will, want to practice killing people? There are sufficient belligerent individuals in the so called civilized world that train for that sole purpose.Yes I have.
Fist time I did I was very young, like 12 years old and my uncle was shooting pigeons from his balcony with a hunting rifle. Asked me if I wanted to try. Of course I said yes!
I destroyed the neighbours window.I hate guns but I've shot many and achieved proficiency in long arms. It's like a "know your enemy" thing. I have a legal carry permit and lived in Methland for a few years. Never used one in anger.
I have practiced loading and unloading a shotgun before, as well as aiming and other techniques, but never actually fired one (no where to practice.)
But I stopped to focus more on my sword training, however if God ever gives me the opportunity, I would not mind seeing how I would do with a gun.Used to do rifle shooting as a kid at a local club... also done some clay pigeon shooting with a shotgun. Also lived in a house with some one who had a shotgun license and had it in the house.. i live in the UK
Yup many times at target shooting , it's fun to do it with friends and challenging each other who is the best one at aiming.
I use a browning b425 sporter multichoke for pheasants and pigeon, a rigby highland stalker for deer. Don't own one for humans.
No, I don't need to. Accidents with your own firearm are more likely to kill you than the firearm is likely to save you.
I would much rather have a knife, because you will not be able to draw your gun in time to stop me if I am within 20 feet of you even if you have the draw speed of a police officer.
If I have home invaders, I can hide behind a corner with a knife and stab them before they even know what is going on.I have shot with a FAMAS when I was in the army. Very accurate and comfortable to shoot. I have shot some.22LR guns too. I would love to try a handgun some day but gun laws are tougher than in the US.
I have, nothing super big. 38 revolver, 45 mm, 9mm, shotgun. One thing that's hilarious about watching gun fights on TV... if you've never fired a gun, you have no idea how fucking LOUD it can be !! You fire off a 15 clip of a regular old 9mm S & W, and you're not wearing ear protection, you're head will be ringing for weeks, maybe months !!
Yes I have because I participated in shooting competition.
My team won the first place but I did not win the best shooter individual title. While duck hunting and target practicing for duck hunting, I've shot a lot. My shotgun.
I have *fired several guns. Never shot a gun though.
