I have. Many types. I live in a state where hunting is common so most people learn at a young age how to shoot. I can also shoot a compound bow, long bow and cross bow
Yes I have, use to go camping a lot and it was part of my survival training (boy scouts). Never shot a handgun though, just shotguns and rifles (not for a long time though).
I did as a youngster. Tried out a local shooting club. Later (inevitably) during my (then obligatory) military service. I get along well enough; but it's not really 'my thing'.
Well if I were to buy a handgun it'd most likely be in 9mm, but that's solely for cost purposes. Since I'd be buying it more for range time, and recreation, the caliber wouldn't matter as much to be.
I don't really go at the range anymore, it just sits there and it's a cost. Plus my girlfriend doesn't really like it even if I pointed out she has dangerous items too. When I go hunting or shooting it's mostly with my guns my friends lend me.
I like it but due to laws here it's more an hassle than anything. If I shot a robber or criminal in self-defense more often than not I'll have to pay his expenses and even risk going to jail. Curiously enough the laws apply only to guns - my girlfriend keeps a machete around and for the law that's okay!
@Sixgun77 Those are calibers, but not specific types of weapons. I have shot many of those calibers and some sucked ass, in the weapons that I fired, and others just rocked! No.303, or.30-06? Jealous about the 40mm grenage launcher though!! Where?
M4, m16, m60, 240b, 25mm bushmaster, mk19 40mm all at ft Benning and ft hood. Ruger single six and super blackhawk, Kel Tec Shotgun, colt ar15 are all mine. The other pistols were my friends at the range.
@Sixgun77 Quite impressive!! I have shot some of those as well. Ever shot a Barrett.50? :) :) Looks like mostly American issue that would be expected. Did you serve, or just shoot with a buddy that did, or a sponsored shoot at Fort Benning and Hood? Not sure about Fort Benning or Hood, but some training bases have OP4 training weapons, like the most likely to be encountered ones. Ever shot any of those, like AKs, RPKs? Just asking! :)
Basic at Benning (mechanized infantry), stationed at ft hood with 1st cav division. Oh, I forgot, I got to use a SAW for a while too. Never shot the barrett.50, but I've sighted down a few at gun shows. For that kind of money id rather have a kel tec rfb or a p90. I've fired the browning m2, and the other .50 cal I've shot was the s&w 500mag. After trying one, I'll stick with my blackhawk (.44mag or spl). My uncle has a bolt action rifle that shoots 5mm. Next purchase will be a lever action carbine in.44 or a saiga 12.
@Sixgun77 Always wanted to try Ma Deuce!! The Barrett, as for owning, yeah, why bother? But just the experience was cool with a buddy. Disappointed in the SAW, but they only had magazines, and those are known to jam a lot. More about learning to shoot older ones, and learn to compensate, on the fly! Precision over volume! :) Levers ROCK! I have a Marlin.30-30 and love it! Well 'broken in' and comfortable follow-up shots.
@Sixgun77 My ROssi.357 is finicky about handloads, and they need to be within a very specific size to cycle. My Marlin.30-30 just ROCKS! I sometimes target shoot with my cousin on his ranch in Texas. He wants to hunt the wild boars that are tearing things up, but I think something larger, more like a.45-70 is needed for that! I think a.30-30 or.357 would just piss them off!
@Sixgun77 My cousin is a bit crazy, and wants to hunt Wild Boar with his.44 mag handgun! Ever seen Game of Thrones? Don't get super close to Boars!! I'm fine with Iron sites at 50-100 meters, not a.357 or.44 at 'spitting distance'!!
Once I get a hunting license, I'm told I'll be taking shots around 40 yards out with my revolver. I need a scope for the kind of accuracy I want at that distance. My dad's friend used to hunt boar by jumping off a horse onto the boar with a knife and killing it. That's gotten too boring so him and his buddies are training to hunt boar on foot with wooden spears.
I have shot a gun with water in it but not a gun with bullets in it. I have also shot my God given gun with urine and cum in it. Many guns can mean many funs.
But don't you have to know who owns the land. Most land around us is owned by someone. We live is a great place about 50,000 people, but low crime area however its between two lsrge high crime rate cities.

I haven't for years, but I have both loaded ammo and shot pistols, rifles and shotguns. As well as black powder.
Yeah lots of times. Less the last few years but I used to shoot probably weekly.

I shoot a lot, but haven’t done much since the semester started. I plan on starting again when it gets wetter so I don’t start a wildfire.
i was in the military, but haven't really bothered with much more than cleaning the ones I have since then.
Plenty of times. Not a handgun though, those are illegal in Canada without a special PAL. I've shot a 30-30, a 20 gauge, and a 22 rifle.
Several times, and different types. Flintlock, .45 pistol, AR rifles, multiple brands of 9mm pistol, .22 long barrel pistol, and even BB guns.
Clay pidgeon shooting, once, and an air rifle when I was a teenager.
I've never shot a gun, I've fired one, though; to shoot other things. :)
No but I've been thinking of learning and turning it into a self sustainable hobby. Because I can sell the kangaroo meat to abattoirs.
i've shot a couple of times. i have no clue what guns they were but it was more powerful than i expected it to be.
Damn right I have. Handguns, shotguns and rifles. I’ve had guns since I was 12
I love a conservative man
Nope... Just no interest to or excess to it but I have held one before
No judgement everyone's different
Yeah, and I have held a big one too.
I did as a youngster. Tried out a local shooting club. Later (inevitably) during my (then obligatory) military service.
I get along well enough; but it's not really 'my thing'.
Yes, I've been trained with a.22-caliber rifle.
It was fun. I'd like to try other rifles in the future.
Yes, shotguns and rifles. Absolutely love it. Am considering buying my own to go to the range.
What kind?
9mm< i hope
Well if I were to buy a handgun it'd most likely be in 9mm, but that's solely for cost purposes. Since I'd be buying it more for range time, and recreation, the caliber wouldn't matter as much to be.
I view you masculine is why I ask remember I'm a redneck so it's like a character extension 😀to my people
Your case different for a range
Shit I had a different theory why if so
Yeah if I was buying something for home defense then I'd most likely buy shotgun haha
Nice 🙂
Yes and I have one as well with regular permit, but I'm thinking of relinquishing it.
Why?
I don't really go at the range anymore, it just sits there and it's a cost. Plus my girlfriend doesn't really like it even if I pointed out she has dangerous items too.
When I go hunting or shooting it's mostly with my guns my friends lend me.
Gives me mental comfort just knowing it's there
I like it but due to laws here it's more an hassle than anything.

Your question inspired me a question
Thanks love
Yes..22, .44,.5, .223, .40, .357, 9mm, .45, 5.56mm,7.62mm, 25mm, but the best was the full auto 40mm grenade launcher.
@Sixgun77 Those are calibers, but not specific types of weapons. I have shot many of those calibers and some sucked ass, in the weapons that I fired, and others just rocked! No.303, or.30-06?

22mag out of a revolver is fun, and I shoot more.44 than anything else.

@JackSmy looking at a marlin for a
.44 lever carbine. I want the loading slot on the reciever.

I bought my second super blackhawk and put a scope on it to be my deer gun. Im told that. 44mag is sufficient for boar as well as deer.
@Sixgun77 My cousin is a bit crazy, and wants to hunt Wild Boar with his.44 mag handgun! Ever seen Game of Thrones? Don't get super close to Boars!!

@Sixgun77 Jumping off a horse, onto a boar, and killing it with a knife!! Sounds just like my cousin!! He would totally do that!
Well done, that man. I salute him.
I have shot a gun with water in it but not a gun with bullets in it. I have also shot my God given gun with urine and cum in it. Many guns can mean many funs.
Oh my
Yes it use to fun to shooting targets and cans, but live in a city so harder to find a place to go now
Yes, you have to go to the country. I go to the Kern River where you can shoot anything you have.
But don't you have to know who owns the land. Most land around us is owned by someone. We live is a great place about 50,000 people, but low crime area however its between two lsrge high crime rate cities.
