I'm heading down to pick my daughter up, she's in college and I miss her. She doesn't know it, but we have a full day. I have to go look at a new motorbike (decided to get one after not having one for 20 years), then off to an antiques place in the countryside, after that over to a horse ranch for a winter trail ride, then out to dinner and a movie.

Just want to get her out from under the schoolwork for a change.

Oh its every month. We get by. i get retirement aand its never enough. By the end of the five weeks between checks.. we are eating beans, rice, biscuits,.. but we get by. We are survivors..

I was planning to work on taxes, but my son is sick and woke up in the middle of the night throwing up. My wife is possibly sick too, so I'll probably be spending the day working on chores and looking after them.

Worked the weekly church Food Pantry. Went food shopping. Sewed up some drapes and repaired the dog's blanket (she started gnawing at the edges, ate some threads, and puked it all up). Cleaned up my workbench - a little bit, anyway. Delivered a book that I had ordered for a neighbor (she doesn't like to order things on the web).

Going to have some ice cream, get my stuff ready for a trip to the kid's house tomorrow and hit the hay.
