Millennial and honestly I'm glad to be born a Millennial than any other generation that's living. On top of having the coolest name because we were born literally when the year changed millennia, we also grew up at a time when technology was only just starting to become big. Our childhood did not use technology and we know of a world without it. I still remember the days when Google didn't even exist and my first phone was when I was 16 or 17 years old and I had 20 texts a month on it. Because we had to adapt to the change in technology so fast and integrate it into our lifestyles, I think we're a good mix of technologically saavy and have good hands on/practical skills, we adapt quickly to any circumstances and our social skills were not as affected by social media as generations after us. So on average, we're better than the generations before us at technology and better at practical skills and social skills than the generations after us. And most importantly of all, we're not snowflakes that are pushing the progressive movement and cancel culture.
Millennials are the best 😎
Great m๐๐๐
Millennials FOREVER ๐
The letter m is typo
Lol ๐
millennial...
but I don't really focus on generational differences, I just see at people as they are, one by one... lol
I didnโt expect that from you๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Just kidding๐๐
Always unique๐ซถ๐ป
lmao...
by the way, do they have a name yet for those born in 2013 and later?
Yeah
And it is really controversial name
Gen Alpha๐
But, after them will be Gen Beta
lmfao... awful choice
I believe our generation has the coolest name๐
That was hilarious ๐๐
Cheugy๐๐๐
lmfao... I didn't even know what that means
but I get it now
Me too๐
I do know of a few cheugies out there though... for sure
I hope I am not one of them๐
lmfao... no, not you
Cool
"we had the 90's first"
that was hilarious... I've literally had a lot of kids looking weird at me or surprised that I am listening to 90's music, when they just found out about it last week... lmfao
I know ๐
The 90โs music is epic lol
The kids you are teaching?
mostly them, yes... neighbors on my street, random ones when I am out and about
You have a good reference then to how this generation think๐
well... ever since I was six years old myself, I've always been able to relate and to connect with people of all ages and that, has not changed one bit
my age changes yes, but I've always been to connect and to relate with kids all the way to the elderly so, I do get to see the good and the not so good about everyone regardless of their age... lol
I can see that. I think you are very social and extrovert
I was like that, still to some degree but maybe because of my family they are a little bit strict, thatโs changed over the years
I am half-time social and extrovert, lol...
but I used to be way less social in the past, very shy and would keep mostly to myself, as a kid and young teen
Really? Didnโt expect that๐
lol... not so many could imagine me being painfully shy, but I really was
I am the opposite. When I was a kid, I was very social. Now, I am a little bit shy
but not completely shy... right?
No, I consider myself extrovert

It's hard to compare. Gen X in Central and Eastern Europe went through hell in the '60s, '70s, and '80s... then the significant political changes in 89/90 and following... then the tragic economy after the changes, low salaries, and high expectations...
You complain about inflation... when I was a kid, I got 1,000,000 zloty pocket money and could buy with it literally nothing. At the beginning of the '90s, there was a denomination, and four 0s were cut from all prices and salaries...
In Europe Gen X is for sure experienced with many political and economical changes and disasters.
Wow๐ณ
Until proven otherwise every generation is better than the last one, as that's kinda the point for us to advance and keep on doing so.
Unless one is dumb and thinks the past was better without all the modern stuff we have today that improves life significantly.
Which to them I hope they get a time machine go back in the past, watch people die from simple stuff that today wouldn't kill you.
And this is just simply talking about medical improvements not the multiple array of issues that have all significantly improved.
I think boomers are the best. Better bone structure better style. They are way more hard working and ambitious than any of us after them SO FAR.. and most of them didnโt have any beauty enhancing injections or surgeries like the rest of today who all have fake eyelashes fake eyebrows, injected lips, Brazilian but lifts and fat removals etc etc. most people today can afford to have kids and have jobs even if both parents work, whereas for most boomers they had more children than todays younger people and were able to support them and own homes and support their parents and usually the mother was a stay at home wife.
They were just better overall.
Bravo 🙌 to Baby Boomers my salutes go to you! 😎🫡
And Iโm millennialll forgot to post that.
I mean most people today CANNOT afford a full family plus have their own home or much less a stay at home wife etc.
The difference in being able to afford things has to do with inflation, not lack of effort.
Boomers could have 1 parent work 3 days a week, and still feed a family of 12 while paying a mortgage and going on vacations.
Prices of everything went up, wages did not rise with it.
I'm late Gen-X (just on the cusp of becoming a Millenial). I don't know if it was best but being a kid in the 80s was totally awesome. Had the Nintendo (we called Famicom here) and SMS, then getting mind-blown with Super Nintendo and Genesis/Megadrive, awesome movies especially for sci-fi and action fans, stylish music, flashy clothes, roller-skating rinks, lots of good stuff.
* Millennial, sorry. My eyes are starting to suck trying to proof-read what I wrote. I skim over stuff. That is one thing that's not fun about being Gen-X. I'm reaching an age where I can't see stuff so well.
I was gonna tell you, but I am watching the video. It is so fun๐
Have you seen the movie? I managed to watch it in the theater when I was 4 years old. Perfect age! I did a standing ovation so loud at the end that my parents had to sit me down. Also shouting, "Run Atreyu, run!"
No, but will watch it. Seems fun๐
I am glad you have a good memory with this๐
Cheers! Maybe we all cherish our childhoods regardless of generation, but I do think the 80s were especially colorful and fun for kids. I think the 80s and early 90s was also a golden age for cartoons, for example, since it was still traditional cel animation but cartoons were really becoming popular worldwide. We ended up getting The Little Mermaid and Aladdin from Disney, for example, along with so many popular cartoon shows.
And people were trying all kinds of wild stuff with fashion and culture, like glam-rock:
It was just a super fun and colorful time to be a kid.
You are right. I like the photo๐
The Baby Boomers were the real Greatest Generation. They were the first to question authority. Their widespread protests facilitated the US getting out of Vietnam. Their generation presided over advances in medicine,. science and the arts. Ironically it looks like they now have another tyrannical government to protest.
Gen-X. We invented literally every major tech advancement in the last 35 years. Millennials and Z have polished them a bit, but we came up with the internet, gaming systems, the re-emergence of electric vehicles etc.
The last of the Boomers developed some tech but didn't envision it beyond the environment it was originally used for. We see laterally. Both before and since generations have stayed in the lane they started in.
Gen-Z it looks like. The lazy ahh generation 😂
https://www.youtube.com/embed/t9fGIvcfBJkThatโs was funny๐
I refuse to feel associated with a specific "generation".
Most of my age mates have become who we (back then) swore never to be like.
Mission failed :)
Life is tough๐
... to "them" :D
I have found that the more fucks I don't give - the more the people I'm not interested in tend to agree with me. heh heh
Good for you then๐
The time periods for generations seem to be constantly revised and I don't trust them. I mostly consider myself as not a Gen Z
You are millennials according to your age
Millennial, but I don't feel like one.
Why?
Which era you wanted to be in?
Those pics pretty much sum it up, sadly im a millennial, the worst generation in my opinion due to your pic on them
We suffered and were damaged a little, but we are the best๐
Errrmmm no
The people who graduated in the mid-80s have the greatest taste in music ever. Gen X! Millenials ruined popular music.
Really?๐
Our generation has the best music๐
the 80s had metal, new wave, plus the Stones, The Who, and the Kinks were still making music. It was the last decade to feature the guitar solo in popular music. It was the last decade where music made with actual musical instruments was topping the charts.
@OtterMan68 I think music started to go downhill in the mid 80s, and now it is just utter garbage unless you search the underground. I wasn't born till 1989, and even I can see this.
I'm from the one everyone keeps trying to steal from. Seriously- 1981-2000. Why is that so hard to understand?
Millennial and I usually get very much along with earlier Gen-Z.
Millennial, and no, most of every generation is nothing but idiots, yet each of them has geniuses.
no. every generation was a failure in their own way including us.
I'm the last of the baby boomers with maybe a smattering of gen X
I'm old at heart and always have been
Millennial, can I be Gen X instead?
Why๐
betrayal๐
I donโt follow all these labels or that generation gender stuff.
Itโs nonsense
Gen z the most entertaining ngl
Nah๐
I mean millennial are the best๐
Gen X has some great music!
Zillenial
Millennial.
