Do these Forever Stamps look fake?

Someone is selling these rolls of Forever Stamps on Facebook for $15 for a roll of 100. Postage now is $68.00 for a roll of 100, or.68 cents apiece. Why would sell them for.15 cents apiece instead of trying to get more? They apparently have a ton of them.

Like counterfeit money there are other counterfeit things out there including stamps. As for counterfeiting unfortunately it does happen & when it comes to money unfortunately some people fall victim to receiving counterfeit bills & when those bills get flagged at your bank it sucks & unfortunately you are the one that takes a loss.

As for counterfeiting there are consequences & if you get caught when it comes to money & when it comes to stamp’s it’s a federal offense as well.

As for the stamps in your photo I can’t tell if they are real or fake but I’m sure someone out there can tell if they are. I buy my stamps from the postal service.

On the uspis link you can report it as well if you come across or see someone selling counterfeit stamps.

I did, to FB but they said it didn't violate their rules. Like really? Yet if you say something wrong you get in FB jail.

(referring to regular looking ones now) These sellers acquire heaps of the stamps from failed marriage mailings, over-purchases, people who just need cash, etc. and can then sell under face value. Some of the newer stamps have UV tracings on them so as to stand out from the fakes.

They look real but it’s like buying cash online. There’s too much risk of getting something fake.

Or not getting it at all. That is what scammers do. Make it look so good not many can resist the savings.

I would not buy these. They may be counterfeit, stolen or just demonstration stamps that are not legal postage. A roll of 100 FOREVER stamps should cost US$68, US$15 is too much of a bargain to be true.

I reported it to Facebook but they said it didn't go against their standards. Neither does nudity either, apparently. I see people trying to get them to go to their Only Fans page. Facebook is beginning to suck.

When in doubt, check it out. If you have the ad or post, take it to the post office and show it to them. They should be able to tell you if they're real or not.
