Tramp Stamps?

If a girl gets a so called "tramp stamp" would that make people assume she's slutty and skanky and sh*t. I don't understand why people think that if someone gets a tattoo near their lower back they are trying to get attention. What if the tattoo they like will only look good there, because the only other places will 1 - draw attention to their chest or 2 - get in the way of another tattoo they want.

I think a lot of people see "tramp stamps" as "slutty" or kind of trashy because they draw attention to your ass. When you see a tattoo peaking out of someone's pants, it peaks people's interest, it draws their eyes down the person's back and into their pants, wondering what the rest of the tattoo looks like, and often leads to them checking out the girl's "assets". I think it's similar to if a girl wears her thong so that it peaks out of the top of her pants.

Personally, I wouldn't get one because I think they're too "trendy". :P

Yeah the reason why I want it there though is because if I get it on my upper back it will clash with a tattoo that means a lot to me and I really don't want that. Also I don't wear clothes wear you can even see a little of my lower back.

I agree. It's the way people wear it. If you wear it with low rise jeans and a short shirt with a thong sticking out, yup, it's slutty. But really, if you just show it off with your bikini, I don't get what the big deal is. I like them.

It would probably look slutty, but it depends on what you're getting tattooed. If its one of those really generic designs then I wouldn't get it there. If its something really unique and different then it may not look so slutty. Another option might be your upper back.

I would have gotten it on my upper back but I already have something really special to me going on my left shoulder blade.

in my opinion there is nothing wrong with a little back tattoo, just don't go overboard and do your arms and chest and whole body...a girl with a little tattoo somewhere is cute(on most girls) some girls are just better left as is but it depends on the girl.

Well it draws attention to your lower back and ass. A tramp stamp is also called a target if you know what I mean.

Ugh, but it's so horrible how people use this as a reason to stare....honestly there are worse spots such as the chicks who tattoo there chest and leave it out for the world to see. The only reason why I want mine there is because the two other places are chest and shoulder to shoulder. I am never getting a tatty on my chest and my shoulder blade is already taken. Maybe guys shouldn't be such pigs, it would make this a lot easier.

If you want it there go for it. It's your body. I don't see anything wrong or slutty with them just kind of pointing out the obvious.
