You know how in teen movies there’s usually always that girl that wears business-casual outfits with pleated skirts or sweaters that kind of nags everyone for not focusing on school and the important academic work in front of them?

It is a manner of grooming and demeanor. Looking and acting like you go or went to an upscale school, even if you didn't. I took on this style in HS an college. kind of a protest against the freakazoids around me. i got a lot of ridicule, but I didn't care.
