Do you really think a shark is capable of remembering or is this just pure luck?

This diver is swimming next to a tiger shark he's supposedly been friends with for slightly over 2 decades. Is this just pure luck (maybe it already ate and isn't hungry) or does it really remembers? I wouldn't dare swim next to toothed shark (maybe a whale shark yes but no others) no matter how docile it seems. It's still a wild animal after all, a fish and a killing machine with razon sharp teeth.

What do you think? Does it remembers or not?

Recently they found a female shark that returns to the same male. They had tagged and were taking blood samples from many GW's in a breeding ground. One female was shown to have a family tree with several shark babies with one male. This was ground breaking info I find fascinating. He must be the stud of the bay.

Yes, even bacteria have memory to a degree, and predatory animals have very good memory and problem solving skills in most cases, because you need that to hunt prey.

It is possible to befriend most species of animals, sharks included.

It wouldn't matter if a tiger shark just ate it's a known fact that when that find new prey they regurgitate what's in their stomachs so they can feed again.

Not scared at all. You’re not on the menu. They’re smart enough to tell the difference between a man and a fish. I haven’t had any recognize me, but never dive continually with the same sharks.

They've still confused humans with seals and attacked people on beaches. Many times the attacks are fatal. That makes it a brainless creature.

Yes but sharks sometimes will continue biting and not let go. How about when a group of sharks attack someone and don't stop, then the person ends up devoured or headless? A mistake would be one small bit and then letting go.

Many. I still take precautions when going to the beach such as not going too deep, not swimming alone and always with a large crowed of people. If warning signs of sharks are given, I'm not going to get in.
As for doing what that man on the video did, that's asking too much. I wouldn't do that.
