I foster cats from time to time... and I do try my best to find them homes and families that would take care of them better or as much as I do
most I've had a kitten is about two months...
last I took in... a not so young doggo, been almost two weeks
so, maybe they would be better off at at place or with people who foster pets and find them places if you're not able to do so but, do check the reviews for the place, if they're positive, then it means they can take care of cats very well... about how long, I am sure they will tell you about their policies
please don't just abandon the cat to the streets... and I am not saying you would, I just mean, please don't let that happen (=
I would never abandon my cat to the street.. this is why if i can't find a new home for him i rather have him in boarding so there’s people around and take care of him.
great (=
We got Pet Smart to babysit our dog during a 10 day vacation and they broke his neck so we no longer trust professional designated babysitters to take care of our dogs. When our dog was alive, we would give the neighbours or cousins our house keys and ask them to take our dog out to the yard twice a day to poop and feed him once a day. They played with him when he was younger but once he got older, he was no longer fun to play with so the neighbours would just go in twice a day to feed and poop him and then leave without talking to him or hanging out with him at all. Our dog was unbelievably lonely when we came back. He would lose his voice from barking and barking all day long trying to reach us but we were not there to hear him.
Never, but those look way cool. It comes down to whether they keep the pens clean and the cats have some toys to occupy themselves with. I would use a catty hotel like that if I was traveling and need to "kennel" my cats for a time.
We left our cat in a kennel for two weeks. He was pretty freaked out when we got him back. I suppose hearing dogs barking 24/7 did not sit too well with hi, m.
