Do you find elf ears on fictional characters attractive?

I think they look decent on stylized characters like cartoons. I always thought they looked a bit odd though on live actors unless they subdue it quite a bit. I think Peter Jackson did a decent job keeping it subdued without making them too big or pointy:

On cartoons, I think they can really exaggerate it and still make it look nice.
