In a nutshell - no. Some dolphins are more aggressive than others. Some, like orca's, are very aggressive. But most are friendly towards humans and even compassionate. Dolphins have been known to protect humans from other predators, and even rescue humans by pushing them to shore. However, they are still wild animals and if threatened, they will respond accordingly.

Any animal can be a bully. People are always saying how dolphins saved some one at sea, however you never hear the stories of how dolphins dragged them out to sea and drown them.

  You are WAY over-exaggerating dolphin behavior towards other species. They are not a "menace" to the seas. Researchers have acknowledged dolphins are not the gentlest creatures towards manatees for example, but they theorize it's because some perceive them as a territorial threat to themselves or the pod. Since dolphins play aggressively with each other, researchers theorize they approach many sea animals in the same way. Forget how Hollywood portrays anything.
