What are some things that if someone your age didn't know how to do, you would think that they may not be too smart?

Sometimes I read posts on here and wonder who ties there shoelaces in the morning.

I think by adulthood everyone should know;
The basics of their main language and not sound like a toddler with alphabet bricks.
How to cook a basic meal and not just pop a box in the microwave.
How to conduct yourself in public and not act like a spoilt child.
Know exactly why everyone is staring at you.

by 12th grade they should know how to make a resumee page look nice using "word" options or similar document options.

if "not know" that they are below "smart" so need to learn that.

@strateguy632 LOL. As if one weather event invalidates the clear data that the Earth is warming. Every year has been warmer than the last. Ocean temperatures is rising. So is sea level. So is flooding all over the world.
