+1 yNo way!! Why? It’s not worth my energy. I am very very calm…even when I got into a car accident… I was still very calm…
I don’t get upset much…becuase I am a logical thinker…for example… my student was talking and I asked him to be respectful… he continues 2 more times… I calmly asked him to come to the front of the room and teach the lesson. He felt embarrassed…all other kids quiet down.
But I never yell at him or get mad…even when people cut me off while driving… I don’t get mad… I just told them they are rushing to the next traffic… or accident… not worth it.
I did get annoyed one time when my hubby or daughter mixed the light and dark laundry 🧺

+1 yYes, I do. For example, one time I got so mad about being blocked online by a stranger that I seriously thought about telling my friend that he/she (I won't say which) was not very nice for blocking me without my knowing of any reason why he/she would block me. However, I cooled down and rationally thought the matter through and realized that he/she probably had a good reason, even if I wasn't aware of it, and that nobody should have to put up with my nonsense if he or she does not want to. I think what is so upsetting is not the fact that a thing happens but rather that the cause that led to it is unknown to me. Perhaps it makes me feel powerless and unable to improve my behavior in a particular way because I have no idea why I may have been seen as an unacceptable person, though I can think of plenty of good reasons why I hate myself.

+1 yNo, I can handle a little thing or two, but if I have a "nothing's going right for me" day where all the little shit just keeps adding up, I will pop and then shutdown for a bit.
My shutdown will consist of laying down in a cool, dark, quiet room for 20 minutes or so with noise cancelling headphones and music playing externally (the headphones can't block all the internal noises in my body, it can get too loud when I need absolute quiet, so the external music drowns out the internal noise.)00 Reply
It's precisely because it's "stupid shit" that I get mad at it. I expect more from people, I expect them to at least try to be their very best, but all too often they seem determined to sink to the level of rabid animals.

Like I can accept the big shit. Like world hungry what are you honestly going to do about it, because tis bigger than you.
But the little things that we can do for each other on a day-to-day basis. Like say hello, make eye contact with each other as you walk past, ask how you are doing... things like that. These are things we can do for each other on day-to-day bases that cost us nothing.
Pull you head out of your phone or ass and treat people like humans being that have enough value to you, to at least say hi to as you walk by. The eye that holds the door for lady and she just puts her head down and walks past you like you don't exist to her.
These things matter. We can't solve world hunger, but we can still connect on a human level, right? It literally costs nothing for you say thank you to a person.

+1 yWhat I really hate is when I'm trying to do something INCREDIBLY simple like, hitting a light switch on the wall, and no being able to do it after 3 or 4 attempts!!
What I hate even more than that is when I do something by mistake, maybe knock over a salt shaker; and, when I go to set it back up right, I knock something else over so, I pick THAT up and either knock over the first thing, again or something else and, every time I try to right the new wrong, something ELSE goes bad on me and it just keeps escalating like one of those Russian dolls, each one is bigger than the one before!!10 Reply - 581 opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yNo, it takes a lot for me to get mad.
The only things I've gotten really mad at are when I have someone repeatedly doing something extremely disrespectful that I've (usually calmly) asked them not to do several times.
But by that point, the person is just being a punk.

+1 yYes, and it ended up being the culmination of years of stress, anxiety, burnout, depression etc. I had a total mental breakdown and lost a friend, respect, and much much more. I might be at rock bottom now, but I will build myself up!
