It's definitely a lot softer than opiates.
Weed won't do much permanent damage, especially once you're past your mid 20's
@Telekinetic-Potato it makes people go crazy and cause several problems with the brain
@GoodgirlNatalie @GoodgirlNatalie ehh, that's about as true as if you said it about red wine. Anything can cause problems when over/misused or given to the wrong person.
Weed has overwhelmingly been shown to do good things for gut health, the production of neurons, eating disorders, sleeping disorders, parkensins, MS, anxiety, pain relief, focus.
People who smoke weed have been demonstrated to be less likely to have cancer, less likely to have depression...
Just because someone you know got high one night and left the fridge open doesn't mean it's crack.
It's not one person. I am talking from experience of seeing people living like thugs because of weed.
I would love to see evidence for all these benefits
@GoodgirlNatalie www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6682376/
That's a paper summerizing some other research on the parkensins topic. It brings up some cons about weed smoking too but also minimally alludes to the fact that the issues with Marijuana listed there are still hotly debated and not yet understood.

This is a video of a parkensins guy who can't sit still, injesting weed and a moment later he can live like a normal person.
Do you still want more or are you still marinating over the first one?
But there are two different types of weed. One is used for medical purposes while other for recreational. They not the same. Good try though.
@GoodgirlNatalie they are the same. In fact, a lot of medicinal weed is lower quality. Your local street dealers weed has a higher chance of having been grown in small batches, indoors without pesticides.
Most of those companies like sac pharma are built off of black market brands which became Grey market after building a reputation. Then they become white market after getting licenses.
The best example of white label not being as good as Grey market would be the oil carts. Big companies will use cheap shit to dilute the oil so it can be smoked effectively. They will use heating elements sourced from China where the metal isn't treated correctly and can burn off in such away that you're inhaling it.
Also, they don't check dispenseries closely to see if they're carrying white market brands. I've seen very low quality including replicas or "refills" sold at legitimate dispenseries before here in jersey and I've heard it's worse over in California. Which I've seen some evidence of.
You're talking to someone who's acquainted with black, Grey and white market producers so yea... Nice try.
I don't trust you.
And just to put into perspective the whole knock off thing for the carts
Let's say you go to the store and buy a connected cart. They're selling it for around $65
If the guy buys legit from a connected broker, a small shop will likely pay about $16-19 for it depending on certain factors.
Or they can go to a refiller of which there are many, many of these people. They'll buy the oil in a big jar, you have no idea what the quality is, where it came from or what exactly is in it. But you're only gonna pay $9 a piece maybe less.
You could probably look most of this up
My experience tells me different things
@GoodgirlNatalie what happened?
All the people that took weed for a long time were impulsive
@GoodgirlNatalie interesting point. It definitely has that effect on many people. Not that I would necessarily say most.
But you know what else makes people more impulsive? Sugar, caffeine, pretty much everything we eat and do.
It also has the opposite effect on some people. Like anything else you can't overuse it. And knowing about how it works and that it effects people very differently.
Most of it seems to be based on diet, chemical balance in the brain and your resting mood.
The mechanisms in the brain which are associated with impulsivity, from what I know, our current understanding of this is abstract. And I know that the connection to weed is being studied.
But unless these people are getting their weed from a pill head or something, it's not because the medicinal stuff is any different.
