My sense of humor isn’t dry. But i sometimes make jokes from uncommon references. Same problem. If the audience doesn’t understand the reference, they won’t get the joke. That can get sketchy by itself. Sometimes my references aren’t popular because they’re generally in “poor taste” to begin with. The growing war on humor sometimes crimps my style and i’m not even tryna make a living at it! I watch as much comedy as i can consume to show my support. If we let the zealots destroy humor, we are doomed.

In office settings. Although I got a healthy amount of bluecollar humor mixed in
Sometimes I would purposely say stupid things to be funny and people thought I was being serious and that I had personality issues. I stopped telling this type of joke after a while cause I realized people did not know I was joking and did not laugh cause they thought I was serious.
I'm British. Dry "humour" is built in. It's an art form if you flex it enough. It doesn't get me in trouble it will fly over most peoples heads.

Dry humor is my language, even if people don’t get it, I laugh at my own jokes 😂Those repetive dad jokes and parent jokes.

Absolutely, especially with US-Americans. They don’t do too well understanding irony.
I think I have gotten people on this site angry at me because they do not know my dry wit.
