For looks it’s between all the North American. The arctic one, and the Asian panda.

For likability and ones I’d like to interact with up close in nature or elsewhere, my picks would be between North American black bear and Asian panda bear. I like the panda cause it’s SO safe and adorably goofy, but I feel also like black bears can be funny as well and are more lively. They aren’t ALWAYS eating away at bamboo or napping. I’d like some interaction and to observe. But for one I’d like to hug and watch and keep safe, it’d probably be the panda.

  Such a cutie patootie and omggg no one chose black bear 😔 poor guy.
  
  Anyways I’d love to see polars swimming in pools either at a GOOD zoo or some polar haven or other. Maybe just some rehab that eventually releases them. They’re just so glorious swimming roaring and sleeping 😂 they remind me of cola too! And my dad. Actually they all do, and short story my dad actually gave a beer to a polar once before! In his crazier days. Don’t recommend but what an oddly amazing experience!

  However, later genetic research placed red pandas in their own family: Ailuridae. Studies of their evolutionary history show that red pandas are an ancient carnivore species and are probably most closely related to skunks, raccoons and weasels. Five million years ago, their ancestors roamed North America!"
  
  so looks like they are more skunk, raccoon, weasel related than bear
