of course, I admit

if you want to raise your children to be good people, you have to teach them many things... admitting they were wrong is part of the lesson. But kids don't learn, because they are told to... they learn by observation... especially their parents are observed...

So I admitted every time I was wrong to them, my partner, or anyone else. For them, it's obvious they have to do it. It's not a shame or something bad. Because I never was ashamed. I always praised their memory or knowledge

so... to teach by example I needed to adopt many habits I was never taught in my childhood :D

Most of the time, yes,. I take responsibility for my actions. Making a mistake, and acknowledging it, is one of the best ways to learn. Those people who always try to blame others are missing out on a learning experience.

There are a few times, though, when admitting wrong doesn't accomplish anything.

Absolutely as there is no other way to improve as a person than to take responsibility, apologize, and try and fix your mistake and learn from it. Well, unless it’s the cops or government. They lie to us all the time. Fuck those guys. I don’t negotiate with terrorists.

If i’m made aware of it, absolutely. Reading the book “Being Wrong”, by Kathryn Schultz had a dramatic impact on how i perceived what i think i know and how i communicate it to others.
I highly recommend.

Certainly. I do tend to formulate my sentences to include possibilities for exceptions, changes etc because it is a good way to test if people are going to actually read or not before commenting
