Personally, i don't have the time or patience for a dog but i do think they are important as a properly trained dog can help investigate crime scenes and can also be used for bomb sniffing. Although from my experience most people don't deserve dogs because they don't properly train them and are aggressive. A few times i noticed a dog owner walking a dog without a lease without a care for the world for the safety of the dog, other people and even other dogs. a lot of people just don't deserve dogs in my opinion.

i really wish we could weed out the hunter from the gatherer lifestyle. we aren't in harmony with other beings. dogs are mans best friend. how can you even question their importance?

I mean I happen to like my dog, he may be an asshole at times. A bed hog and eats me out of house and home but he’s my boy and I love him. His needs will always come first. I’m someone that needs a pet, I’ve chosen the next breed I’d like when my boy one day goes.

Dogs are ace for defending us, looking after us and many other things. But things should not be allowed to go to far as they are now, which is again due to celebrity influence. Dogs should not be allowed to harm humans or be put before humans or restrict our way of life an culture, like here in the UK some dog owners want fireworks banned in case it upset dogs.

Dogs and other animals are just as important as humans and should be treated as such. Fireworks don't just upset dogs but they can upset and even kill other animals. People who have certain mental illness, dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, and other conditions can also become disoriented due to the loud noises which can trigger them and cause episodes of irritation, confusion, agitation, aggression, and so on. So, if you don't care about the well-being of animals at least think about your neighbor before you decide to make it sound like a warzone next time you pop fireworks.

@throwmeaway1111 My right to celebrate my culture such as Bonfire Night comes first and animals will never be as important as humans. You are a classic example why giving women rights is not such a good idea. I have Autism and i love the loud bangs that come with fireworks.

I think all living beings aside from shitty humans are important. Dogs can be trained to do so many different things. My dog has saved me and has really helped me through a lot of hard and difficult times
