I have a running blooper reel to my own life, chockablock with "macaronia" (ridiculous things) I've either said or heard.

I was talking with a male supervisor and a female coworker ( who were also my friends) when the super asked me why I didn't ask out a certain other coworker. I said "she has a boyfriend, so she's another man's property". That didn't go over so well with my female friend. She playfully grabbed me by the back of my neck and asked "what did you say?". I just meant that I shouldn't ask out a woman who's in a relationship. I may have phrased it badly.
