After having been through all living situations - with different relatives, alone, roommates I was friends with, roommates I didn't know, partners, I can fully attest that I love having my own space and being in full control over whom I let into my space.
Don't get me wrong - I liked having roommates in the sense of it being nice to come home and there's someone to chill with. To cook with, go out, do groceries and other spontaneous things like movie nights. But there's also the massive downsides of people not sticking to a cleaning plan or blocking the bathroom / washing machine.
Should I ever, god beware, move in again with a partner, I'd only do it under the condition of having our own bedrooms, plus a living room. In that way everyone can do with their private space what they want to and avoid fights over messiness etc. and you can still sleep in the same bed if you'd like. Win / Win.

Nope. I grew up with 3 other siblings… I have 2 kids and love my big family and love living with my own… I like company. I am okay alone as well but certainly pick living with others as preference.

No, I prefer at least having one roommate just because it helps me feel safer at night to know I’m not alone in the house

Room sharing with with a degenerate is detrimental to me, so I live alone. I know I've endured it. Never again.
