What would you choose to do, slide down the sewer or get shot to death?

In Rush Hour 3 movie, Lee and Carter tries to escape out of the sewer. Carter goes to try to open the door but it’s locked so the only other option to escape from the triads is to go down the sewers - as lee said no choice and Carter said he’d rather die but the triads found them shooting away and Lee/Carter took the choice to go down the sewers?

So what would y’all do in that situation and which option you’d choose.

I prob wouldve got shot. Anytime i see a sewer scene, i think of all the ick and disease filled things in there. I watched the new Quiet Place 3 (prequel) and still dont know how they did it with all that sewer water in their mouth

At my age, I'd be likely to die of whatever disease the sewer held. Remember, rats live in sewers, and 13% of rat bites are fatal, not to mention the plague and other potentially deadly diseases these rodents carry.
