Do you think your body reacts to someone staring at you?

Question

I’ve heard people say several times that they ‘felt someone watching them’ or ‘felt him/her/them staring at them’. I’ve also had my fair share of instances where I felt like someone was staring at me. Do you think it’s possible to feel someone staring at you?

Our brains are incredibly highly adapted to social awareness, and often much more aware of our surroundings than we consciously realize. There’s no exact research that highlights this specific feeling that I know of, but I know more than once we’ve all had that urge to turn around, make the briefest of eye contact with someone before they look away because they had been looking at us. It could be a ton of unknown factors that allow us to do this, maybe things like pheromones or hormones in the air we can’t consciously feel but our brain picks up anyway? It’s difficult to say, some people like to claim a sort of psychic awareness that allows us to know when someone is looking at us from behind when we have no way to see them. It’s kind of interesting.

Yes, I have this happen so often, and most of the times I'm minding my own business when I feel someone staring. I look over and sure enough they are. I have also tested it out by staring to see if someone looked and they did. So yes, I believe you can feel when someone stares at you!

Yes is true... Your body "feels" when is Looked/Gazed at... and actually the "part" that works on it Is your Brain, not everybody is like that, as since the "devices" took over, seems that, their Personal Space can be "invaded" without their knowledge, as it happens in many cases, like you try to get off the Bus/Train, and they stay "glued" to their phones, and when the doors are opening, they won't even "flinch", but You need to get off, so the only option is to PUSH past, if you see that they have no awarness... Usually i have a pretty decent "personal space awarness", or i use my "common sense" that someone might want to PASS me, while in the bus/train/escalator, etc... But is Not always the case, some can be pretty... Slow...🤦‍♂️

I'll tell you something: I don't have to feel it. I know because I can see them doing it. They just probably assume I can't see them because I always wear sunglasses in public. They probably reckon I'm blind or something... but I always wear sunglasses outside because I'm exceedingly sensitive to bright lights. I can see clearly through sunglasses even at night... and I'm very much aware of how much people stare.

I was curious about this too because I’ve had times where I’ve felt like people were staring at me!

It turns out psychologists have studied this and called it the “psychic staring effect” where they claim it’s “the extrasensory ability of a person to detect being stared at.”

Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t, my friends joke that I lack awareness but even more so than staring, if someone were to follow me, I don’t think I’d even notice. I think unless it was super obvious or a rlly hard stare, I wouldn’t notice.

For sure. I remember one time recently at the gym where a girl blatantly looked at my dick bulge and I physically felt a cringe that made me pull my hips back. Almost like being touched. Kind of funny.

Most of the time I can tell. But I have more awareness then a lot of people. I think people can for sure feel it. But many people are clueless of their surroundings

Yes it is but i usually like it. I get lots of younger women staring at me of course but i also have some women that are very forceful and aggressive in their staring
