Is it weird for someone to stand outside of a bathroom door and wait for you to finish using it?

The bathroom is single occupancy. Is it weird for someone to stand right outside the door waiting for it to be open? I have a roommate who does this, and I really don’t like it.

A roommate in the house doing that is weird af like go sit on the couch and wait. 😆 Out in public it makes sense to wait outside the door but even then I find it kind of awkward.

Yeah. Think he's trying to pressure you to get out sooner. I would have fun with that. I would tell him one time, "I'm not coming out till you F off." And stay till he moves away. Then one time I would sneak a portable radio in there and have it playing some music on low, leave the light on, lock the door switch from the outside and shut the door with nobody in there. Let him have fun with that while I'm away for hours and he doesn't even know that I left.

And this is why I only had roommates for 1 brief period in my life. I Immediately got bored with their bull & had to get my own place.

I hate when I'm using a single stall bathroom some asshole gets mad at me when I swing the door open and hit him. Why the fuck are you directly behind the door?
