I meet people (not through dating but through mutual friends or other circumstances) but the issue is that most of them don't interest me enough to give them a chance. And yeah I have my defenses way too high and sometimes relationships can be traumatic in some ways. It is also extremely difficult for me to actually like someone that is why I have been in very few relationships so far. I mean if someone that I deem worthy comes along I might give them a chance, but it is not something I actively seek for lol. If it happens it happens. It can also be very draining at times to be thinking for two, you put way too much energy. I don't have negative opinions about dating I mean it works for a lot of people but I am alright on my own there is just another level of independence.

I'm not speaking about just you but in general, what's the point of living if you don't have anyone to care about but yourself, there might be a form of peace to it but I believe there will be some form of emptiness, given the ability to love and care but letting that part of you rot seems like it can leave some void in the soul, I kinda came to this conclusion when I thought really hard on what I'd be if I was completely alone, no living being in the world that cares about me, no family, friends, I could only imagine id be a monster possibly rely back in crime, who knows, but my point is that you could be missing out on something you might actually enjoy and in a way energy is like money, you should spend it on things that will benefit your life and I think love is worthy of it, i believe in an afterlife, some dont but whats certain is that when we die, we dont come back here, this is a first time i see someone wanting to truly spend their irreversible life alone, its kinda mind blowing, you say u are alright on your own but does alright mean you are at your best? Cause I feel like at least a part of living life is to make it the best life for yourself, not just make it alright 😆
