Trigger warning :Sad and triggering question for some
887 opinions shared on Other topic. Not at all , not saying I want to die , but if it happened I would be ok with it at this point in my life , for the past year and a half my life has been going downhill , after I lost my mom and my oldest brother , then I was laid off from my job , that I enjoyed and been actively seeking work for the past 7 months now and having no lick whatsoever , it just blows my mind on how hard it is today to land a friggin decent paying job , Money is now getting tight and I can barely pay my bills , I feel like I worked my whole life to get me pretty much no where , it just blows my mind on how pathetic this country has become, so leaving this Earth doesn’t sound like a bad option at this point for me. I experienced enough of it honestly. My happiness is slowly fading away to the point it’s going to take a miracle to make me feel happy again.

Try medical coding. It rakes about a year to get certified (provided you don't bomb the test). It's a job where you are almost always able to find a job and the retention rate is high of you want to stay employed. Where I code now, there are people who have worked in thre same position longer than I've been alive.

If I reach a point in life where I feel like I've done most of the things I wanted to experience and I'm content then I feel like I won't be afraid of death. Maybe a little because we're programmed to fight it to the end but not truly afraid.
But I've made so much progress over my life so far and I still have more to accomplish I would feel disappointed and sad and loss, if I died right now because I'm doing well and I want to stay on this ride longer.

1 yIt depends on the way that death happens and how long it takes. I believe in heaven and hell and I think being a bad person is more dangerous than getting diagnosed with stomach cancer.

No, I'm not because I KNOW I'm going to heaven when I die. Thank the Lord for salvation and a wonderful peace that allows me to never fear death

But if you look deeply, We are all afraid of "Uncertain death", We all want to greet death when we have lived a long, prosperous, healthy, and meaningful life. At least till the age of 90.
+100 Most of us will not want to live, to be not able to walk, not able to hear, shit in our bed. Now that is a horrible life, and most of us will prefer death.00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Other topic. Its funny how gag displays the trigger warner after the super bold letters you read first haha. But no I am not afraid of death at all, neither am I suicidal. Life is an experience for me to experience and after that I return to whatever world we came from if any.

1 yNo. I want to live long, but if I died tonight I know I lived life 90 percent to the max. Not 100 because the hours I worked. Hoping that by killing myself and my body earlier w work that if I die then years from now life would be 100 to the max.

1 yNo. It's a natural part of our lives. We are born, we live for however long as we can and then drop off a ladder and fall to our deaths. Probably not that last part, but we will all die at some point and I don't feel there should be any fear of it at all.
Now, car crash or something like that, I can understand being scared during that event. But to fear death after the event, why? I am at peace with myself and my choices in life.00 Reply- 770 opinions shared on Other topic.
1 yNot really, there are things I would still like to do and hope it doesn't happen anytime soon, but if it happens it happens. I've certainly lived longer than some people I know and it broke my heart to see them go so young.
00 Reply 1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. I'm not afraid of death that comes suddenly and unexpected, but death that takes over months or years daily a small piece of life, this death scares me.
10 Reply330 opinions shared on Other topic. Yes since I don't know what happens after. Reincarnation would suck. I don't want a new life with a new family and loved ones.
And also the idea of nothingness is kind of scary as well.
11 Reply7.3K opinions shared on Other topic. No, not at all. Being maggot food doesn't scare me.

death can happen at any moment, in my opinion you need to accept that fact to be able to live without worry. (The fact itself is worrying tho💀)
00 Reply844 opinions shared on Other topic. I'm afraid of 'not being able to live anymore" - but yes, I too, like "Sonorous' below, fear what may precede my death, i. e. pain and the dread of it all.
