I never treated my birthday as something important... especially as a kid, so not much bothered me because of it...

as an adult, I made my birthday an occasion to meet my friends, and it suits me the best when people that I rarely see in person come to my place and we can spend some time together

I was painfully shy as a kid, so being in the center of a party, all eyes on me was something to dread and I kind of hated it, lol...

but I didn't cry, it didn't make me sad... just very anxious and stressed, lol

Yes. When I was 12 my father made me work roofing my grandma's house. It was child labor, but that's how I grew up. I got one LEGO set and a nice lunch then back up on the roof.

No, but one year I was missing my then girlfriend and I went out by myself and got very drunk in a chain restaurant that we frequented. We lived 1500 miles apart. I did not know how my life got so screwed up.
