Playing hide and seek with my older brother as a 5 y/o and I was running behind trying to catch him, he swung the door to the corridor shut behind him and my head collided with force against the door knob and made a loud thud. All I can remember is a few flashes, but mostly everything was foggy.
From what I was told, I bled heavily and the ambulance arrived. We lived close to a hospital, so I was lucky. I woke up with stitches on my head and was sent home a day later. I still have the scar on my head to this day where the hair doesn't grow.
Not exactly but a kid left a van and i leaned my hand on the door side.
The jerk saw my hand so he rushed to slam the van door on my finger... very fast... i heard the sliding and decided started pulled my hand back... but i heard the door bang before my hand moved... but then hand moved not banged by the door. The order stunned me!
He had closed it fast n i heard the bang first! But my hand was safe!
Another story where maybe my life was saved.
Pa drove me to the air port but accidentally took a wrong exit so by the time we turned around i was sure gonna miss the flight.
The driver dad said it was fate so i would not die in a plane crash.
But in my prayer of gratitude i also prayed that the other passengers should be saved... and
The lord heard my prayers and the plane did not crash!
The power of prayer!

I dove off a bridge to impress a girl. The tide was pretty low and I did not realize it until it was too late. I used my arms to absorb most of the impact. I was lucky I did not break my neck.
there have been a few fire calls that had me thinking about my career choice, and I ended up with a broken leg a few weeks ago on a call.
It could have been worse, but it wasn't.
I hate desk duty.
I've had rockets fired at me, i had to take shelter and wait a while till everything calmed down.
I was in Israel on October 7. It was also around 7 o clock when I woke up because of the sirens activating. Fortunately i was far from the front lines so it was only rockets but i heard the explosions. Through out the day there were multiple rocket barrages fired at the city i was staying at but non hit anywhere close to me though i could hear many of the explosions. Many flights were canceled but after a couple days i was able to leave.
Despite the war cutting my visit one week short, Israel was one of the most fun places I've ever gone too so i hope the war will end soon so i'll be able to return and go to all the places i missed.
to be honest i didn't notice the small text so i only answered the main question since i did not think "I can't believe I made it through that". but more of a "Bloody hell whats this mess" The scarier things were actually seeing what the terrorists were doing to the people in the places they managed to get too, it was horrible stuff. a lot has been scraped from the web but i call tell you that it was worse than the rockets.
Yeah a homeless dude asked me if i had been following him and took out a gun. I told him that we just were on the same sidewalk walking & i didn't know who he was and i was just trying to get home. He put the gun away and told me not to follow him and he went on the other side of the street and i kept walking until i got home. He looked like a typical homeless who does a lot of drugs
Quite a few. Mostly because of my stupidity.
More than I should because I'm a dumb ass haha
Yeah I've had plenty of those.
Im still waiting for that happen. Lol
Too many to count. I truly should not be alive
