i would first of all block the doors windows curtains and then go out sometimes to look for food

Block the one road to my area, execute my neighbor, take what I need and torch the house. Take my supplies to my fallback just in case. Wait for my friends to arrive. If things get too... dicey, fall back.

dude there are much more people alive today you think and far less dead. For the majority of human history all humanity was under 1 million and we were under 50 million for a very long time. In the last 120 years we went from 1.6 billion to 8 billion meaning its possible that there are more people alive today than dead. so where are all these trillions coming from?

Even if every dead human ever revived many of them would be immobile as they've been eaten by animals who themselves are long dead and eaten. their bones have long rotten away and their skin has been turned to dust. Thus the amount of zombies actually available will be miniscule
