People don’t understand what a Zombie is.
A zombie is a powerful Creature no person will be able to Defeat 1 zombie let alone a Horde of them.Zombies never sleep, and they are incapable of fatigue. Fatigue in the muscles is caused by a lactic acid build up. Zombies are incapable of producing this acid. Since they are incapable of producing lactic acid in the muscle tissue they feel no symptoms of fatigue.
Zombies are impervious to pain and require no air to breathe. The small portion of the brain which the parasite needs requires such a small amount of oxygen that simply by being in an environment where oxygen is present will suffice. This means, obviously, that a zombie can survive on land; however, this also means that a zombie can survive under water as water is one part oxygen.
They are thus immune to drugs, poisons, gases, extremes of temperature and pressure, high voltage electricity, suffocation, and drowning.
While not invulnerable to physical injury, zombies can suffer great damage to their bodies (including dismemberment) without being adversely affected. Dismembering the legs will render the zombie immobile, but the creature will still continue to subsist. Likewise, decapitation will incapacitate the body, but the head will still "live".
Zombies have no concept of fear. You cannot scare a zombie. The small amount of brain that they have does not process fear. A zombie will see you and feel the need to kill you without being intimidated by the number or the weapons. Zombies raised by necromancy are more dangerous than virus raised zombies because magic controlled zombies work by the will of the master making them more dangerous and a potential enemy to the living. Eventually, zombie flesh melts away as it ages making them more and more powerful and skeleton-like.
Zombies have the ability to detect scents and can differentiate between the living and the dead; they prefer to feed on living flesh. Covering one's self in the scent of decay can act as a camouflage. They can also use sight to distinguish the living from the dead, although they seem to have poor eyesight as their irises fade and decay over time. They make up for this with heightened senses of hearing and smell. Darkness seems to have little effect on zombies' senses at close range, and in areas devoid of light they can still find their way around as they would in the day.
Individual zombie strength depends on the physical makeup of the individual and on how long they have been reanimated. When attacking, zombies often become more lively, exhibiting full-body effort, and can produce enough force to quickly overwhelm an adult human. Zombies have been shown to be able to rip open human and animal victims with ease, and they can even rip off human limbs with enough force. As zombies decay, however, their muscles, and consequently, their entire body, becomes slowly, but surely, weaker.
Zombies feel no pain. Although seemingly unintelligent when not active, they can react quickly to sufficient stimulation, and can rapidly overpower a victim they have taken by surprise. Though their bodies are no more or less durable than a non-decomposed human body, they can absorb all manner of physical damage, even when badly decomposed. Anything other than a head attack, spinal cord severing, or dismemberment leaves them seemingly unfazed. As long as their brain remains intact, everything that is attached to the brain can continue to function as normal, even if only the skull remains and is severed from the body.
Other than a mostly intact brain, zombies don't appear to require any vital systems or organ functions to survive, although their ambulatory functions do decrease as their level of decomposition increases. Sufficient physical damage can slow them down, or render them incapacitated.
Mostly, zombies are void of any emotional expression and thought. When stimulated, whether by noise, sight of prey, or simply encountering a problem they cannot solve, they quickly descend into a state of murderous aggression. If they spot prey when stimulated, they can pursue them ceaselessly, showing ravenous hunger.

Depends on what kind, if this is a virus kind that in a year or so all the virus corpses ultimately die out due to how nature works. Nature needs fresh energy and if they are truly dead would rot and fall apart pretty quick.
So sure, I could in one of those. Fortify, barricade, I can grow my own food, I know how to hunt, raise my own animals (grew up on a farm) and live very rural. My town of less than 200 people would definitely be easier than those who live in cities with millions.
Now if a necromancer comes for me with a zombie army, probably not.
Fantasy scenario. Zombie apocalypses aren't a real thing. However, if I was going to indulge the question, a number of factors come into play in regards to what surviving a zombie apocalypse would take.
First of all, you need to know somewhere that zombies can't get in and you need to have enough supplies in there to last until it blows over. This is assuming the military will swoop in and massacre all the zombies. You also need to be able to get to that place. So some stealth and survival skills are essential. One must also be prepared to kill anyone who gets bitten. Whether it be your mother, wife or best friend, they have to be shot in the head at point blank immediately if infected. Falling short of any of this means death.

The real question is would the zombie apocalypse survive ME?

I hope so and think I would... 😬
I'd like to think so. We don't have a lot of special fighter or martial arts training, but we are intelligent and physically fit. I'm not sure I'd really want to be around for a zombie apocalypse, but I think we would do our best to fight through it if necessary.
We are somewhat resourceful with agriculture and nature, especially my husband.
» the event that can bring the end of humanity, namely the apocalypse = • Are contagious deadly epidemics that cannot be cured? • The wrath of space or earth by natural disasters? • Risky experiments that we can't predict the end of? • Like climate change or similar ice age? • Great wars that cannot be won, such as the 3rd world war? • Experiencing depletion problem in natural resources and depletion problem in food sources? • Or is it because people do not want to have children or the world of testing has become uninhabitable due to crime rates?
I have military training in the bag, i can farm, i can run, i know how to fix electricity, i have a lot of books to read about farming and medicine and some tech, and am good at building fences :D so yeah
BRING IT
If the zombies aren't too fast and I have plenty of shotgun shells, I can blow off their heads easily enough.
I can do simple car fixes, can fix simple wounds. I'm learning about medicinal plants. You need a broad skills set to survive without modern conveniences.
I might last a few years if I'm careful and surround myself with family and good friends.
I couldn't say for certain, of course, but I'm far better equipped to survive it than most people. I've already got too many people who think they're going to run to my house in the event of an emergency - but I probably won't be here when they arrive.
I walk fast so these mfs better keep up. My short legs can walk and run like Forrest Gump 🤣.

I do my part to make sure the dead stay permanently dead. If any somehow becomes undead, I have the equipment to make them re-dead.
Yes, I would survive. Depends... are they the slow and dumb zombies, or the fast kind that would be impossible to deal with?
Maybe…. If I really wanted to. But if we were at that point I don’t think it would be worth it. So I would probably do some stuff for the hell of it and then take myself OUT!!!
I hope it doesn't come because I'd be screaming while banging a zombie's head, and when one of my loved ones turn to a zombie I'd be probably crying after locking them somewhere.
No. Judging by my luck, I'd be bloody patient zero XD
as much as i love the whole zombie apocalypse world, i will be the first to tell you that no i wouldn't survive lol
Probably, I'm isolated, well supplied and enough ammunition to kill a small to medium size town.
I'd like to think somewhat decent, small town, lots of guns, lots of wide open countryside space several buildings that can be easily fortified.
Yeppers, I'm a good shot and have all the ammo I need.
I've been preparing for years for just such a thing.
They don't start smelling if you just leave them laying there do they?yes..
I'll just stay out of their way and all will be well
