I have once taken a flight in a hot air balloon and it was amazing. No noise, no wind through the hair since you are flying at the speed of the wind. It is an excellent way to observe nature below as animals don't hear you, can't smell you and everything is so peaceful. The only problem is the landing that can be quite shaky and possibly dangerous, depending on the terrain and the speed at which the hot air balloon approaches that terrain. It is an experience I would recommend to anyone. Not cheap though but certainly worth trying once in a lifetime.
