Why is my toe nail like this

[SueShe]

It may be the start of nail fungus but it is too small to really see. If you are insecure, I suggest you consult with a dermatologist or seek the advice of your local pharmacist. He/she should know if it is indeed toenail fungus.

Have it treated before it spreads to the other toenails because once it has spread, it is difficult and a lengthy process to get rid of it.

Thank you for the reply

Upon enlarging the picture, I notice that you have like a 2nd. layer of skin growing over the first one. That would be the typical sign of athlete's foot.

Check with your pharmacist so he can give you some cream to apply on a daily basis. Make sure to wash your feet at least twice a day and to change socks whenever you wash your feet. With the proper care, your problem should be over in about 1 week.

Looks like your toenail came off and is growing back. Is there even a nail on it?

It looks like fungus, or if that toe has been broken a few times or more, it could be it could be due to permanent nail bed damage.

I have a messed-up toenail from multiple toe breakages.

I'm not a doctor, though, nor do I portray one on TV or in ads.

It looks like a malformed nail on the pinkie toe. That's fairly common.

Let it grow out and then trim it.
