For my dad to stop treating me like a boy! This weekend we had a family gathering and played a game of softball. He yelled at me the whole time! "Can't you at least hit the ball past the pitcher"? "If you gave it 100% you could have ran it out"! It's so annoying. Finally I snapped at him, "dad, I'm not a 6' man, I'm a 5' nothing girl that has boobs that get in the way"! lol

  @OlderAndWiser I have a brother a year older. It's just my dad became a single parent when I was a little over a year old and he basically raised me the same as he did my brother. When I turned 8 he started a serious relationship with my stepmom but she didn't wanna become to involved with how he was raising me but eventually did (thank God!). I think he still thinks of me as being his other son lol. They had my sister when I was twelve and I immediately told her I wouldn't let daddy corrupt her. 😊

  Maybe you should respond with some teasing jabs when he treats you like a guy. "Hey, dad, do you need for me to explain to you the difference between boys and girls?" "Hey, Dad, if you treat me like I'm a guy, is this your way of suggesting that I should get sex change surgery?"

  @OlderAndWiser I have. When he complains about me "being no help" with heavy lifting or automotive things, I'll just say, "I guess you just didn't have it "in you" for another boy did you"? lol The problem is, my brother lives hours away, so he kinda depends on my sister and I for helping him do things.

My life is pretty good. I have everything I need and wanted in life. I don’t ask for much.
I know it’s the season of change and if possible … stronger immune system. I would not want to get sick too often this yr.
I got sick 3-4 times last yr and it was a full week each time.

  Things changed after Covid vaccine!! I am still pissed they made us take them.
  I was only sick once, most twice a yr my whole teaching career … sick about 3 days around Oct./Nov. then around April … I only took upto 6 days a yr. and always saved 4 days out of the 10.
  Last yr. I had fever everytime for a whole week.
  14 days is nice. Being sick not so nice.
  
  I love (my job) working and if not sick I’m there.
  I am learning/reading/watching about natural supplements/foods/herbs to boost my immune systems!
