Do you have any certain phrases that you either hate hearing or do yourself that others have said they don't like?

For example, I despise when people say "same difference" (inb4 someone says it now in here).

As for me, I know I say things wrong when it comes to cleaning. I say broom the floor when it's tile and sweep the floor when it's carpet.

I hate the word but. Especially when I say something and the person I'm talking to seems to agree I'm right out they shouldn't have done whatever but... Here fucking come the excuses which means here comes the reasons why they're going no to keep doing it

That's a fair one. It kind of reminds me of my hang-up with "I don't know." Especially at work. It's ok to not know an answer. However, it should always be followed up with a "I'll find out for you, though"

My former boss used to say "teachable moment" and "teachable moment". The guys that worked for me all k ew I didn't think much of this guy every ince in a while they would use one of those phrases.
