What's a saying that you hate?

For me, it's definitely "money can't buy happiness." Wanna a bet. Money would solve most of my problems.

"Good to go!"
In the first place, it doesn't make a lot of sense, at least grammatically and, in the second place, we had a gig in Morgantown on the same night that our bass player was taking his girlfriend to the prom so, we had to find a guy to sit in. One of his fave phrases, that he said constantly, was, "Good to go!". As it was only gonna be for one night, after we trained him for a few nights, I could deal with but, he drove my singer & I to the gig and back and did a good bit of drinking at the gig so, he was pretty toasted on the drive back.
Bob's in the front seat sleeping and I'm in the back wide awake. We're about half way home when I start to notice that we're going really fast! I look over at the speedometer and it's up past 70 on its way to 80!! Slowly, a car way up ahead of us kept getting closer and closer. This guy didn't seem to be slowing down at all and showed no signs of trying to go AROUND that car ahead of us!! That's when I realized, he fell asleep at the wheel and, had it not been for me suddenly shouting for him to wake the fuck up and seeing to it he didn't steer us into an accident, we could've all been killed!! So, from then on, I've HATED the term, "Good to go!" because it always reminds me of that night!
Another one I hate is, "Move on."! About 20 years ago, I lost the best friend I've ever had to her abusive boyfriend and it REALLY broke my heart worse than ever before or since!! I kept trying to get friends to verbally help me through it but, every one of them would eventually just say, "Move on." I don't WANT to move on! I want my best friend, back!!
Eventually, 2 years later, I got her back and she divorced him and, as far as I know, he's rotting in jail for abusing and molesting their kids. She & I have been best friends again, ever since.

It is not practical, people do not like it they only claim they do so, I found out the hard way.

I would agree in saying that "money can't buy you happiness" is also one of the quotes I hate the most, and I wholeheartedly believe that this is also just a lie spouted by rich people to make poor people not want to chase money.

Most of my problems resulting in me being unhappy are there BECAUSE I don't have more money; I can't buy my dream car, I can't get my mother the best doctor for diabetes, I can't get into my favorite college for my Masters etc.

Yes money can't physically buy you happiness, but it can help alleviate your tensions in a lot of ways and therefore make you a happier person with an easier life
