Do you want to listen to this great song about a guy who doesn't understand why he and his girl can't stay together?

Interesting, I had heard this song before but I never knew the name of it. It's a nice song, and yeah I get the message of it cause it seems like people are so quick to call it quits these days. And I'm the type of person that really to tries to make my relationships work (as long as certain lines aren't crossed) before going that route but not everyone appreciates that, there are lots of people that are scared to actually fight for their relationship like it doesn't mean anything. You have to be careful who you give your love to.
if someone won't explain it to you... you won't know...
and somehow, a lot of people are afraid to speak about why they don't want you... they will find a million excuses that don't even sound plausible...
so they just leave you in a void... longing for something that doesn't have a chance to exist, but you don't know why...
they often hide behind the excuse... "I don't want to hurt you,"... and leaving in a void hurts AF... the worst truth is better than not knowing...
The song is cool but should be dedicated only to someone who loves and cares for us because if it's given to someone whi doesn't care than we are showing them our signs of weakness and that's where they start to hurt us more and more...

WOW! I just listened to that song, Beth yesterday!! What made you think of it?
My first husband was in a band the last couple of years before we ended up divorced.
Just like the song says, he left me alone way too much!! It caused problems between us because I was always alone.
In fact, that song was in the top 40 while he was in the band in 1976/77.
Thanks for MHO :)

I can imagine the guy is singing for a white girl so it doesnât appeal to me at all. This is one of the biggest reasons why Romantic Bollywood songs make me emotional because theyâre clearly for a fluent Hindi speaker=most likely an Indian girl. I love the songs by Armaan Malik and Arijit Singh. It seems like heâs singing for me. I even like Hardy Sandhuâs songs. I usually donât like romantic songs sung by white men because I know their target audience. I canât imagine a completely hypothetical situation:Me as a young Nordic blonde he is in love with. Thatâs a little too hypothetical to consider. So I can never enjoy the song like any of you do. Now someone will say something racist to me while claiming Iâm the racist one 👏🏻
I haven't heard this song in a long time. It's a nice song.
I never heard this before. Is sounds like something pretty current.
@exitseven
It's from 1992/1993.
I love that older songs did not, could not, use pitch correction.
@sage2021 first time
