Why? What's wrong with it, I got a spoon that the metal looks tainted and like an old statue that's been sitting in the sun, I never use it and I avoid using that specific one but don't throw it away.

My wife got some forks and spoons that had belonged to her parents.
The forks have small, thin handles. They are hard to grip and feel unbalanced. I don't like them and never use them. We have other forks that I love.

Nope. I'd inherited a few back when I lived with roommates, and as soon as I got my own place, those things got tossed out. I have no time or space for tools that I don't use or don't want.

I also, as soon as I could afford to, got rid of the cheep pots and pans and replaced them with commercial cookware from a restaurant supply store. None of it is "fancy", but it is very high quality and should last more than my lifetime. No Teflon in sight, just aluminum and stainless steel. Makes a big difference.

no... I don't think so... but I have a spoon I took from my mom's kitchen, when she passed away... the spoon is perfectly fine, but I don't use it... I just like it's there :D
