Do you keep cutlery in the car?

Question

I always keep a mix of plastic knives, forks, and spoons in the car. It's handy for when I get a takeaway. I had jumbo battered sausage today and it enabled me to eat it with dignity.

Yes. Due to time constraints, I often eat lunch in the work van, sometimes parked and sometimes driving (obviously some foods require being parked). I have a bag in the car with extra napkins, plastic cutlery, and another one with ketchup, taco sauce, salt, and pepper.

I make plans every day, but in my line of work, plans are ripe for disruption.

We always ask for cutlery when we buy take out at a restaurant and then we put it in a vacation goods pile, to be used for Air BNB rentals when we go in trips. We do not use the cutlery the same day we buy the meal, instead using our metal forks and knives and spoons at home. The cutlery is saved for future trips around the world, since airplanes do not let you bring metal knives and forks in the suitcase.

That’s a good idea. We often take road trips of 1,000 miles plus round trip and eating in a vehicle can be a messy pain in the ass. If we bring our pets, which is often, we can’t have a sit down meal. We have brought utensils on occasion when we packed our own food but having them on hand seems like a good idea.

No, I don’t. I either take the food back to my house and eat or I eat it at the Takeaway restaurant. They have a large inside area to eat such as places like Burger King McDonald’s, Taco Bell Wendy’s Popeyes Chick-fil-A And other takeout places

That's a great idea but I don't currently have cutlery in the car. If I get takeaway, it's usually food I eat with my hands, so I don't need cutlery, or I take it home and eat it.
