What do you think the average grocery store's profit margins are?

I think a grocery store manager usually makes around $4,000 to $10,000 a month and most grocery stores have 4-5 managers. Then you have smaller level bosses too.

4-5 top managers seems excessive and inefficient for a grocery store. My favorite grocery story only has one general manager (a friend of mine) and a shift manager for each shift. Maybe the ones in your area are just run completely differently though. Stuff like that definitely drives up prices for all of us.

What do you think the businesses profit margins are though? Like how much could they cut their prices and still break even?
