does not want prices going down, wants prices going up to pay the debt. only way out of debt spiral is inflation. tariffs providing inflation that directly fills treasury.

So go spend more. but instead of paying say $4.50 on a box of cheerios, buy a can of oats for $3. In time, you can save enough to pay the extra for the avocaodo.

you get healthier and the treasury gets $ and everyone is fine, except the shareholders of cheerios... which are total garbage.

Apply that thinking to everything you buy.

Tariffs would help? A lot of the produce in your grocery store comes from Mexico, Chile, and other Central and South American countries. If they are taxed on import, you will pay more. What do we get from the south? Tomatos and avocados all come from Mexico, except the shitty flavorless Florida tomato's. All tropical fruit, and all fruit out of season because the seasons in South America are the opposite of hours. Today I saw medium avocadoes at $2 each.

A woman published a book on how to cook on a budget and the food CEOs paid Amazon to blacklist the book. They also paid Amazon to blacklist dietary books and products by nutritionists who threaten their business by giving advice that makes their commercial products look redundant. I believe there are basic and understandable ways to lose weight but the food businesses force knowledge posters to hide that information from the world because they make trillions off the dietary ignorance of sick people.

Let me explain how tariffs work
You impose say 30% on French cheese.
Now the French seller isn't going to lose 30% so he ups the price, let's say from $10 to $13.
Then the store uses the tariff excuse and ups the price another 30% to $17.
Then there's all the background stuff you don't see, the checkout till needs new springs from China, the delivery vans need a part from Mexico and so on. Now your french cheese is £20.

Take coffee as an example. Almost all your coffee comes from S America. So if you slap a tariff on up that's good for Hawaii growers because people will buy that instead. But because 99% of your coffee comes from S America and Hawaii can't cope with demand your coffee becomes really expensive

Some prices have gone down. Eggs, dairy, meat and bread have seen price drops bu at least we do not get sticker shock every week at the grocery store.
