Do you think there's truth that peoples behavior reflect on their parents?

I would imagine it doesn't actually reflect on their parents like they do the same stuff but I would imagine by this people mean it reflects on how they were raised, do you think it's true? Maybe sometimes? Never? 🤔

I know at the most it does I guess make their parents look bad in some ways but I don't know.

When you bring a child into the world you have one job and that is to give that child morals values and ethics to make that child 100 times better than yourself to give that child a hand up and becoming somebody important somebody that can help the world save the world be a part of the world in a positive way

A baby comes into this world with nothing in their brain whatsoever from the moment they get here they start watching they start learning

And by the time that they're 18 year old they are part their mother part their father if their parents had attitudes and body language when speaking to the child the child is going to have the same thing they are going to be exactly like their parents because that's all they know that's all they've seen and listen to for the last past 18 years each and every day.

Now some of us when we turn 18 and we leave and we start coming up against all kinds of things in life that we have to make choices we have to think about WTF or my parents talking about with this scenarios this isn't the way it is and then you have to question yourself about everything that they taught you and you either make a choice to incorporate those into you and believe in them or you say wait a minute they are wrong I'm not going to be this way I'm going to be this way

Most kids just go with the flow and they are who they are they're exactly like their parents that their parents were assholes they're going to be assholes if their parents were kind and giving and good you're going to be kind giving and good but however you raise your child and the foundation that you put into them to build on if it's faulty and no good that's exactly who that child is going to be if you do not raise that child to be better than you I feel that you failed because you didn't put enough time and energy into that child you didn't do your job.

In this world most people are selfish most people don't give their kids enough time with their parents positive time to teach the kid right

I know a girl that has two kids and the girl's mother raised her so bad with attitudes and just I mean everything everything is drama

Will this girl's two girls got to go live with their grandmother and everything on their Grandma's mouth was loud obnoxious with an attitude and I said didn't you learn from teaching your two other children that you were wrong and what you were doing the way you were raising them and now you're doing it with you two grandchildren anyway

The two grandchildren just turned 18 they moved off and they're going to college they hate their grandmother because of what they had to live through and go through because the path that she put in front of them was nothing but a bad path to make you fail

And just because he's two girls understood that and watched it happening each and every day they had to make a choice on who they were who they were going to become and they knew in their heart if they want to succeed they have to do it on their own

My dad was very abusive and I always was on the receiving end of it all. Grew up with no friends and was never accepted by my peers in school so i didn't enjoy going to the school despite being forced to. I figured out if I got in big enough trouble while there I'd be sent home for the day and occasionally even a week at a time if I got into big enough trouble, so that became my routine. Parents had to work so I would get suspended and one of them would reluctantly come pick me up, drop me off at home then they would head back to their job and I would enjoy the day to myself riding my bike outside or playing games and watching cartoons. My lack of having a stable and structurally sound home environment as well as school environment, gave me a sense of no belonging in any of what should have been the basis of developing those childhood skills most kids do at that age. Was always told how my behavior was unacceptable and that I needed to do better yet the routine never changed and new approaches or ideas weren't attempted by the parental figures that could have at least tried getting to the root of my behaviors. Long story short to this day I'm still not who I should be in their eyes and they consider me the odd one out of the rest of my family.

it's a psychological fact that the caregivers during young years imprint their behaviors in children under their care... kids are observers... learn by observing actions of caregivers...

all is good if they are good or neutral reactions... the problem starts when they are toxic... it takes years... for some people lifetime... to get rid of them or change them... because they come automatically... they are our first choice reactions when we are stressed, under pressure, full of emotions...

so... parents... consider the fact, that your kids learn by your actions, not your words...

it can go either or both ways too... and I've definitely seen it go either way, and this is more noticeable when you think of the siblings, you often see a good bunch of brothers and sisters and then one of them you just wonder how were they part of the same family? lol...

but I've also seen cases in which the parents definitely single out one sibling and will mess them up badly, like wtf... is wrong with those parents?

Most. there are cases the children are just "different" and parents don't know how to handle that different brain. can go really bad when that happens...

But in general, it's how people are trained and the skill level of the parents to manage that personality to be effective.

Truth? Absolutely. Upbringing is conditioning, I'm saying it in a neutral way.

Consciously, we pass down values obviously, but the interesting part is not the values, the values are passed down on a conscious level, it's the blatant part.

Unconsciously, we pass down who we are to a kid, we pass down how we behave in life, how we interact with people, all people, friends, foes, lovers everyone, kids are spotting that. We also pass down how we feel, and what we fear, unintentionally, an unfortunate legacy largely talked about in a therapist's office, when a kid has become an adult, when an adult realizes they're influenced by things they don't really asked for, things coming all the way back from their parents instead of within themselves.

there's a saying you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with

which is why some people who grow up in conservative households end up woke after spending some time in college with woke friends
