My cat did that actually. I fed him every single day, everytime he ask for food, I gave him. I gave love and care and he really liked me, he only meowed for me. And he brought me his prey. He gave me a lot of mouse and tiny snakes
But I think he realized he is old enough to hunt and live on his own, and so he did and come back home every Sunday to stay and sleep with me. Monday morning, he's gone again...
Too bad he got killed.

I don't do shit for our pets lol. My husband is in charge of all that, he controls their entire world literally they are fish. They aren't even cold water fish so it's not like they could survive very well if he did try to release them around here.. I wanna get a reptile tbh 😊 I would care for like a snake or some shit real good
I play with her, I get her food, she sleeps in my room, I pet her frequently. A good portion of the bond we share is probably due to the fact that she's very affectionate and will approach people and put her head on their laps until they pet her. Then she'll nudge you if you stop petting her before she loses interest.
I've never had a cat like mine that begs for food outside the fridge, pantry, BBQ - everywhere!! He jumped IN THE FRIDGE!! He MUST inspect everyone's food to make sure he doesn't want any.

I have no pets but If I did have pets I'd treat them like kings and queens 👑
Food, affection, a comfy place to sleep, flea & worm treatments, doctor check ups and medication when necessary to keep her healthy.
I have two cats. If I opened up all of the doors and said " There, you're free!', they would stare at wondering if I'd lost my mind. They wouldn't go near the opened doors. They have it too good in here.
I have no pets. With the hours I work it just wouldn't be fair to have a pet.
They're (my wife's) fish. I don't even get to stroke them.
I feed them, groom them, play with them, pet them and cuddle with them. My animals aren't pets, they are our furbabies
I provide the same thing she provides me- unconditional love.
