How many properties do you own or use to own?

In the 2010s, i owned 3 properties, all at the same time.

1. My mother's house
2. My grandmothers house
3. My Apartment

None and I don't intend to ever own a property. Why?

Because I don't want to invest my time with the upkeep of any property. I rent out my current flat from my grandfather that is the owner of it. The nice thing about it is that when I want to leave on vacation, I take my key, lock the front door and forget about all the problems associated with owning property.

No maintenance, no gardening, no mowing the lawn, no snow removal in Winter, no mortgage, no property tax. Just nothing at all. That is what I call an easy life. I am not interested in owning something that is way too big for me and no, I don't consider a property to be an investment. I have no interest in having too much money as with a lot of money comes a lot of worries.

Ok, smart guy. Anybody with half a brain wouldn't want to pay rent for their whole life and be told what to do in their own home by a landlord. Most people don't have the luxury of renting from their grandparents
