I went shopping for designer clothes like Gucci, Armani etc… I left away with nothing. Everything was shit, distasteful, tacky or overpriced. The jacket I was wearing cost 100 and looked better than the ones going for thousands. It’s a scam

Of course they are but people don't want to realize it.

Designer clothing and no brand clothing are produced by the same children in Bangladesh that are paid $1 a DAY.

The only difference is that the same children saw a label on the clothing that says whatever brand name you want.

This piece of clothing is then sold $300 vs. $5 for the identical one manufactured just after the designer clothing. Actually a lot of designer clothing's quality is lesser than no name brands and it has been demonstrated in various consumer reports.

The problem is that kids and young adult need to show off and are subjected to group pressure to wear designer clothing.

Designers for the brand name? Yes. Like the trendy stuff that are recycled plastic…yes a waste.

if you get the classic stuff and check out the quality is worthy of the money.
I prefer quality real materials.

Never give money to these bullshit brands , it all just goes to the bottom line , and look I know business , extremely well , and I know big budget marketing.

The line " You get what you pay for " is utter utter crp , its what they want you to believe , ditch brands , I never support any of them , especially monopolies or duopolies , purely ludicrous.

It’s waste if you can’t afford it but you keep buying them, but not if you have enough money. Because you have enough to spend it.

I like quality. For example, I’d rather invest in Merino wool for the winter knowing for sure it’ll keep me more instead of a branded jacket just for the bragging rights of saying I spent in $2k but I’m still cold.
