So What is the absolute WORST NYE you ever had?

For me this is a simple one , I was about 20 or 21 , and NYE in the City of Melbourne Australia was not the family friendly event it is today , intoxicated youth often looking for a fight , my mate was punched in the head in the City square but that was just the start. We moved onto North Melbourne , where two of our friends ( doctors in training - completed the degree , then you do this ludicrous training year where you work 80 - 100 hours a week , and get fck all $$$ but its how it was ) , so they qualified for a commission flat , which is kinda like a Getto , but incredible location for these hospitals they had to go work at , we were all there maybe 20 of us in this little Flat , my mate said ( guy who had been punched ) look there are people down there , big square in around these 4 giant towers of flats , you can imagine the kind of person living there , we went down , everyone seemed okey , there were district groups in these times , Skinheads , Rockers , sharpies , and to a lessor degree Skegs ( surfers , skaters basically ) , I was a Skeg , skinheads hated skegs ( well they hated most people ) then this rather slutty looking girl took a liking to me ( Long story - didn't participate ) I reached into my car to give away a bottle of wine , was king hit , kicked in the balls , bashed , and came to with this guy holding a knife to my throat , looked out for mate , he was lying on the ground , just moving.

Spent most of the rest of the morning in Emergency , police reaction? " You won't come to North Melbourne again NYE mate , will you? "
