1 yIt isn't USA literally is an imperialistic hegemony state that can graciously threaten other countries.
With all the horrific shit Russia did, I remember watching United States bombing Baghdad flat, unchecked, unchallenged pure barbarism at that
Literally, even Israel didn't randomly dropped bombs at civilians the way US did
And we watched it on live television. Thousands of civilians were brutally murdered by shellings etc etc
Like, I know Russia is evil, but Americans believing that their state is the good guys is fucking rich24 Reply- 1 y
@Darklydarkened
Exactly,
Thanks for explaining in detail - 1 y
@Darklydarkened only thing I disagree with is what you said about Israel.
- 1 y
They bomb specific places, and destroy neighbourhoods
But had they have the guts to do what US did in Baghdad, they'd literally level half the Gaza in 3 days en masse and be way more inhuman
Not that they've slightest sense of hesitation of throwing bombs on hospitals and burning babies alive - 1 y
WELL SAID!!!

1 yIt isn't different and as an American this is all very embarrassing to me. Trump is an idiot. He's not going to go after any of them. The man has half a brain left as do his supporters that believe Biden is in cognitive decline ( not disagreeing) but Trump isn't. The guy couldn't name half the states in America.

u 1 yLast time i checked, the US had not threatened military action against any of those nations.
00 Reply American isn't going after any of those countries. America made demands of neighbors in our sphere of influence concerning border security to reduce drug and human trafficking. Tariffs were mentioned as a diplomatic measure of leverage. When Canadian politicians said that they'd be slaughtered by tariffs and would not be able to survive, Trump said if you can't survive on your own and you need our support then maybe you should join the United States. America has extended offers to Canadian provinces to join the United States many times. This is no different. America did not extend any offer to Mexico to join America. As far as Greenland is concerned, Trump offered to purchase it. You know America acquired Cuba before right? They were an America territory. We also granted them their freedom. While that wasn't great for us and many Cuban people, we still acquired it and had invested in the territory. Greenland want to be independent of Europe. Maybe they join us, maybe they don't... It was just an offer and it's not the first time America has offered to purchase Greenland either. We've done that under two other Presidents. Greenland has been a protectorate of the USA since WWII. The USA didn't threaten to invade any of those locations.
011 Reply- 1 y
@Pohjolan No he didn't. He said he wouldn't rule out using the military to retake the "Panama Canal", not Panama as in the country and their government and not Greenland. If you read the treaties the USA has made with Panama concerning management and defense of the "Panama Canal" which America paid for and built, you will discover that using the United States military to retake the "Panama Canal" to keep it open, neutral, and secure is exactly what America is suppose to do according to the terms of the treaty if the neutrality, security, or functional of the "Panama Canal" is ever compromised. It is our legal duty to do exactly what Trump has said he is considered and hasn't ruled out. Obviously if he can resolve the issues that currently exist diplomatically that would be ideal, but America will uphold the treaty and carry out our duty if need be so that the canal stay secure, neutral, and functional.
1 yWell, sweethert I got a tale to unwind, 'bout a time when Trump's eye was on a land called Greenland even though it was white. Greenland, oh Greenland, a land of ice and snow, caught the fancy of our prez, and the world began to glow. It should actually be called "Liberty Land." Lemme strum this here G chord and explain:
[fiddle intro]
Donald Jr. went a-calling, MAGA hats in hand,
Talkin' 'bout strategic deals, and the future of the land.
But the folks in Nuuk, they weren't too keen,
On the idea of sellin' out, or bein' part of the scene. Now, I'm a redneck from the South, with a love for my own soil,
But I can understand their fear, when a big power starts to roll.
Greenland's rich in minerals, a treasure trove indeed,
But the people there, they want their freedom, and that's what they need.God wants us to love our neighbors, and treat 'em fair and square,
Even if they're Danish snowflakes, with a different culture to bear.
So, let's strum these strings, and sing a song of unity,
Where folks can choose their fate, and live in harmony. In Nuuk and beyond, where the snowflakes dance,
The Stars and Stripes will wave, giving them a brand new chance.
At football games on Sundays, a nation's pastime shared,
Greenlanders will wave the American flag and not be scared.McDonald's burgers sizzlin', fries so crispy and hot,
A taste of home for visitors, and a cultural melting pot.
From sled dogs to tailgates, a fusion of the old and new,
Greenland will be LibertyLand where dreams come true!10 ReplyBecause America isn't (and isn't going to) "go after" Canada, Greenland & Mexico. If Trump, or any President, attempted such a bone head stunt, then military would disregard the "order" to invade.
Then, the President would be impeached and removed from office.
These statements of Trump are just distractions from what he is doing to the American people, rather than for the American people.

1.1K opinions shared on Other topic. The difference is the USA isn’t deliberately attacking other countries/nations for expansion goals. Every NATO country would be on Americas ass if they pulled a stunt like that.
America isn’t stupid, they play their cards close to their chest, Donald Trump is all bark but no bite. He’s a flawed con artist “businessman” Americans hoping he will change their nation, guess we will see.
50 ReplyEh, well, I reckon it's like this, eh? So, the USA, they're like this big ol' hockey player, always skatin' around, tryin' to check everyone, eh. And they've got their eyes on Canada, Greenland, and Mexico, eh. Now, Russia, they're like a goalie, always tryin' to block everyone's shots, eh. And they've got their eyes on Ukraine, eh.
But here's the thing, eh. The USA, they're all like, "Hey, we're just playin' a friendly game, eh. We wanna share our maple syrup and hockey sticks with our neighbors, eh." But Russia, they're all like, "Nuh-uh, this is our territory, eh. We're gonna protect it with all our unholy horror cocks and soul torturing, eh."
So, it's different, eh. But at the end of the day, it's all just a bunch of big ol' countries playin' a rough game, eh. And we're all just along for the ride, eh. Pass the maple syrup, would ya, eh?
00 ReplyThe USA isn't going after Mexico. Canada was just a joke. As far as Greenland, the difference is that the US isn't going in and taking it; they are negotiating with Denmark and would go through the legal process to purchase it. Russia is trying to forcibly take Ukraine.

You should brush up on the War Powers Act. You likely know better but nice try.

@DrPepper12: I’m quite familiar with the War Powers Act. We’ve been hearing lunatic ravings from leftists for years about Trump which are consistently disproven. Yet you’re strangely unconcerned about the unconstitutional actions of Demented Joe Biden, who recently thought he could illegally declare an amendment to the Constitution and whose administration engaged in highly illegal censorship wile doing nothing about a huge spike in attacks on Jews.

@BCRanger10 it’s same, taking other countries by money or by force or by false claim.
