How is cooking, cleaning and being a nice person extraordinary... aren't those basic survival skills?

There was a female Youtuber posting about how she's thankful her mother was mean and strict that didn't let her have a social life with friends. She kept defending hitting children so much.

Then she kept saying she's successful just for the fact that she can cook, have the cleanest house ever and I'm nice towards others''. Honestly that sounds like bare minimum survival skills, big deal. I'm not impressed. I can do all that too (and more) and haven't ever gotten hit. Neither of my parents were mean and strict. I was still allowed to have a normal, social life besides school and the house.

That's what they tell housewives so they don't realize that they are actually useless kept women.

Exactly. I wasn't impressed at all. She acted as if that makes so unique, lol.

It makes you an extraordinary woman for doing these things. Look at the Peg Bundy character in the sitcom Married with Children.

But you don't have to be mean and strict nor hit to get those results either. My parents got better results without hitting.

I would never hit or force a woman into cooking or cleaning. However, a woman who does all of these things is more likely to find a man than if she sits around like Peg Bundy all day watching television and eating Bon Bons.

In that case true. It's definitely better than doing nothing at all even if it doesn't mean you're a very successful person overall. She reminded me of a man that says that he's faithful and nice. Similarly those would be the bare minimum in a relationship.
