Do you think using an RPG is best to use if a drive by shooting happened aimed at the person?

Random question: I am asking whether using some hardcore weapon like an RPG would be a good way to retaliate if somebody tried to do a drive-by shooting on you or someone you know.

The idea seems to be that you'd want to hit them back hard with an even crazier weapon, like an RPG, to really send a message and make sure they don't try anything like that again.

You play too many video games... If you somehow manage to not instantly kill your driver with the RPG's back blast and go careening off the road into a wall, you would light the entire interior of the car on fire and burn alive.

When an rpg fires explosive gas fires out the back so you will probably do damage to the driver, yourself and anyone else in the vehicle. Maybe a grenade launcher.

I was going to answer this exact same thing, yes...

back in the early 2000's, in the streets of Mexico... some cartels were popping RPG's like they were fireworks on Holidays

that only lasted a couple of months... every other mess after that one, they went to grenade launchers instead

they do look cool AF and all that, but they're not as reliable either, not on hands that are not properly trained and even at that, not so effective on the go

@NathanDavis you'd have to a convertible vehicle. Maybe standing on the back of a truck like ISIS. But a Ghetto style rat a tat tat drive by isn't going to work with an rpg

Doubt one of those thing would be very easy to get a hold of and that pistol could likely fire much faster than you could get that other thing ready to fire.

No. You will most likely kill yourself. RPG's are prone to wind current and misfire. Unlike in the movies, it's more a weapon of last resort.
